Last updated: 2026. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to information when you visit bleachbit.app.
What we collect
Standard web server records: the page requested, the time, a truncated IP address, your browser type, and the page that referred you. These logs exist to keep the site running and to see which guides people find useful.
Cookies
The site does not require an account and sets no advertising cookies of its own. Aggregate analytics may set a cookie to distinguish one visit from another; you can block or delete these at any time in your browser settings — which is, fittingly, one of the things this site teaches you to do.
Third parties
Some pages load fonts and embedded resources from external providers, and those providers see the request your browser makes. Links to the official BleachBit project take you to a site with its own policy, which we do not control.
What we never do
- We do not sell or rent visitor data,
- We do not ask for personal details to read any page,
- We do not run intrusive tracking scripts or fingerprinting.
Your choices
You can browse with cookies disabled, use a private window, or block third-party requests entirely — none of that breaks the content here. To ask what we hold about you, or to request deletion, use the contact page.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
